Tell me how many beads there are
In a silver chain
Of evening rain,
Unravell'd from the tumbling main,
And threading the eye of a yellow star:--
So many times do I love again.

Submissions

Rain Chain Press is now accepting submissions.

We are interested in short books in any genre (short or flash fiction, nonfiction, personal essay, memoir, poetry, etc) but all submissions should be related to the Eastern United States or Maritime Canada or a part thereof, or the nearby Atlantic Ocean.

As we specialize in small books, all submissions must be between 15 and 40 manuscript pages, 12pt Times New Roman with one-inch margins: double-spaced for prose; poetry should be in standard format, single spaced with double-spacing between stanzas. If any portion of the manuscript has been previously published, please include an acknowledgements list citing what pieces and where they appeared.

For digital submissions, please send the full manuscript (as a PDF or Word document), alongside a one-page cover letter with a description of the work and how it fits our interests, along with a brief bio, to:
[email protected]
The subject line of the email should be Manuscript Submission, followed by the last name of the author.

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, you may not receive a response until a few months after the date of submission. Thank you for your patience!
